We work for homeowners, landlords, farms and estates across Fife, Dundee, Angus and Perthshire, dealing with trees that have outgrown their space, become unsafe, or simply need shaping so more light reaches the garden. Every job is planned around access, the health of the tree and the safety of everything around it, from greenhouses and fences to overhead cables and neighbouring property in Scotland's older residential streets.

The coastal strip from Carnoustie up to Montrose is windswept and salt-exposed, and shelter planting takes a beating over winter. Inland towards Forfar, Kirriemuir and the mouths of the Angus glens the ground is more sheltered and fertile, with substantial mature hardwoods and long-established beech and hawthorn boundaries that need regular management to stay dense rather than gappy at the base.

Rural Angus properties usually have good access for machinery, which keeps costs down on larger jobs — but they also bring more overhead line proximity, livestock fencing and roadside safety to plan around. Conservation areas in Montrose, Brechin and Kirriemuir and protected trees on older properties mean we still check with Angus Council before any tree work that might be restricted.
